Patented 5-stage filtration keeps water clear and healthy
1. Air driven filtration system, which creates vigorous water flow and maintains oxygen saturation.
2. The circular flow of water collects any fish waste on its way toward the bottom of the tank.
3. The flow of water draws the waste through the ceramic media where the natural biological filtration absorbs some toxins and feeds the beneficial bacteria.
4. Any remaining waste is trapped in the sponge filter cartridge. The water then passes through resin particles and natural stabilizers to remove toxic substances and keep the pH levels consistent.
5. Cleaned water is oxygenated as it flows back up the bubble tube to repeat the cycle.

Caring for a biOrb aquarium is easy
biOrb owners worry less about delicate chemical balances and grime because a biOrb lets nature do more of the work for you. All you have to do is give it a helping hand. Depending on your choice of species, you may only need about 15 minutes of maintenance per month.
It's quick and easy to change the filter. We promise.
Changing the filter cartridge is an essential step in preventing algae growth, maintaining optimal water quality, and fostering a balanced ecosystem. Doing this every 4-6 weeks is vital for ensuring your fish remain healthy and your aquarium looks its best.
Remove the old filter cartridge: Twist out the bubble tube guard. Remove the dirty cartridge and toss it.
Add the new filter cartridge: Attach the clean, new cartridge to the bubble tube guard. Twist the assembled unit back into your biOrb.
